3DLPrinter, the stereolithographic professional printer, DLP technology based

 

 

Robot Factory, for 3DLPrinter series, chose the light curing technology (stereolithography) using DLP© devices.

The prototyping technique DLP © (Digital Light Processing) is the 3D printing system that uses a special photosensitive polymer resin to create objects.

DLP © technology stands out for the precision and resolution that can hardly be achieved with other printing methods. The technology is based on the use of a liquid photosensitive material (resin) that is placed in a container (vat) and a DLP projector connected to the computer, which projects one after the other the horizontal sections of the object that you want print. The light is projected into the resin, which reacting becomes solid layer by layer.

Each layer (Layer) is formed above the previous one and constructs the object by additive process. This technique involves very fast printing times that do not depend on the complexity and the number of objects, but only on the height (unlike laser technology which is related to the number of objects to be printed and the dimensions).

For the realization of the 3D object it is necessary simply a three-dimensional drawing in STL format (Standard Tessellation Language) which is a native file format of all 3D CAD systems. For our 3DLPrinter series printers we have developed Printer3DLP software that can import models in STL format.
